She earned her DPhil in Anthropology from Oxford with a Clarendon scholarship, winning awards like the Owen Aldis award and the best student presentation award. Lucy also served as Magdalen College MCR President. Before her DPhil, Lucy graduated with a first-class BA from Cambridge in Human Social and Political Science and an MSc with distinction in Primate Behaviour and Conservation from Liverpool John Moores University.
