Mai Izaki

I'm Mai Izaki, a 10th grader taking researching neuroscience under the guidance of Dr. Kimberly R. Clark. My project topic is ASMR, and the way in which it can affect adolescence. I was initially intrested in the topic of ASMR as I had recently started using it, but then I saw that there was a lack of research of ASMR in terms of how it affects adolescence, which made me curious. Something that surprised me when I was researching this topic was the high percentage of adolescence that deal with mental health issues. Other than this, my hobbies are playing instruments, playing games, and watching crime podcasts.
