About this speaker
Ayaan Seshadri is a 16-year-old high school junior from New York City. He is an aspiring public health scientist aiming for a career as a federal-level epidemiologist studying genetic, medical and social determinants of diseases that disproportionately affect communities that lack representation. Ayaan is a staunch advocate for the medical causes on both ends of the age bell curve as he seeks to champion the causes of children and teens on one side, and geriatrics on the other. Ayaan is also a classically trained musician who plays the piano, guitar and cello and enjoys singing. Not to mention, Ayaan is an incredible foodie, and a budding food-anthropologist, as he tries to understand cultures through his penchant for tracing the origins of foods.
